Not only that, you will automatically get a FREE hosting account, and we will set up a parking page for your newly registered domain, so that it doesn’t look empty when somebody visits it.

For any domain to be activated it first needs to be approved by AMNIC. After you have submitted your new domain for approval, you will receive a confirmation from AMNIC within 24 working hours, after which you will be able to pay for your domain.
Ones you have paid for your new domain name, it will be active and ready for use within maximum of 12 hours.

At this moment every person or organization is allowed to request/hold maximum of 6 domain names at a time, after your domain name is approved, and you make payment for approved domains, you will be able again to hold as many domains as many you paid for from the original 6.

You can register as many as you like provided they are available to be booked. In all circumstances you will have to adopt the same process of domain registration, which you were adapting to book a single domain.

Once registered, the domain name is unchangeable. You can register another domain name if you wish.

Once you register a domain name, you cannot "un-register" it. If you find that the domain name you chose no longer suits your business or personal needs, you should register another domain name. The domain name you originally registered will continue to be registered to you until the end of the registration period. Registration and re-registration fees are non-refundable.

Yes, you may change the registrar sponsoring your domain name. To make DomainShop(GlobalAR) as your registrar, you just need to transfer your domain to us.

If you wish to transfer your .am domain to us, just make a payment for an additional year for your domain, which will be considered as a request of transfer, and we will do the rest.
FYI: by submitting a payment for your domain and transferring it to us, your domain will still have the same expiration date, plus the year you paid at www.domainshop.am , it will just extend your domain registration period.
You are not losing anything by transferring your domain to us, no matter when you make the payment.

The letters you receive are most likely to be from resellers, not registrars. After your domain is transferred to us, all the registrars accredited by AMNIC are informed about the transfer. We can not inform every existing reseller of .am domains, and no matter what they say in their emails, if you have paid with us for your domain, they will not be able to take it from you. You simply receive those letters because they are not aware of the transfer and are not updating their information from the central database.
In this case, we would recommend you to send an email to your previous domain manager, informing them about the transfer, and asking them to delete the domain from your domain list inside your account with them.

For any technical issues you may have with your domain registration, you should contact your registrar, if your domain is not registered with us. If you want us to take care of technical issues of your domain, you can simply transfer your domain to us, and we be glad to help resolve them for you.

.am domain names are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. This means any name registered will simply be registered to the first person to apply for it, if it is approved by AMNIC, regardless of whether this person has a right to the name or not. If you, as a subsequent party, feel that you have more right to the domain name than the current owner you can pursue one of the following courses of action:

1. Contact the current owners of the name and enquire as to whether they would be interested in transferring the name to you.

2. If they are opposed to transferring the name, you could start a court proceeding against the current owners of the name in any court of law in which you claim that you have more right to the name because you have a prior right to the name (Which can include but is not limited to: owning a registered/unregistered trademark for the name, having a company by that name etc.)

Yes. It is your responsibility to verify that the registration of your domain name is complete. And, then the domain name registration comes up for renewal, we will email the contact for your domain to remind you it will soon expire. If you do not keep your domain name's registration current, then the domain registration will expire and the domain would then become available for others to register. It is your responsibility to be certain that you keep your domain name registered.
